- FamaShot III. uses invisible infrared laser beam (LIDAR) for long distance, quick and accurate pinpoint-aimed measurement, and photo/video recording for the unambiguous identification of the vehicle.
- FamaShot III. is a small sized, light weight, compact instrument implementing in a single mechanical/optical/electronic unit all the necessary subunits: the laser measuring device, digital camera, and central controller unit with data logger. It can be placed and operated on the car mount stand into the patrol car, or on a monopod/tripod, too.
- After the switch on, the FamaShot III. operates immediately. In the auto measurement mode the photo/record is triggered by the laser system via pre-setted speed limit value.
- FamaShot III. records on memory card all data necessary to prove the offence: aiming reticle, momentary speed, year, month, day, hour, minute, second, the visual circumstances of the traffic offence, including also the target car's registration plate with good legibility.
- The aiming by the monitor provides an additional advantage: the picture on the operator's screen is the same as that being recorded. This feature permits recording of other traffic violations, too, e.g. passing the road cordon line.
- Owing to FamaShot III. compact design there is no need for cabling, which would involve inconvenience and might become cause of troubles. FamaShot III. stores the last 37000 measurement data.
